- Follow packagetrack on Twitter, within a few minutes packagetrack will begin following you.
- You can now Direct Message packagetrack with the nickname and tracking code, separated by a ":", eg. "Amazon Books: 23345631243" of a package you would like to track.
* PackageTrack currently only tracks UPS, USPS, and FedEx packages, we'll be adding more carriers shortly.
Going International
7/21/2009Hey folks, it has been really wonderful to watch PackageTrack pick up steam. So far everything has gone smoothly and we've been working hard to imporve the service. We won't keep you waiting, so here is a list of new features:
- USPS International packages are now recognized.
- Package maps now have a destination marker (tip o' the hat to @adamdurity for the suggestion).
- UPS & FedEx packages added en route will now have a complete status history.
- To save on space and sanity, USPS messages will no longer have "Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day" or "Please check again later" as part of their notifications.
Suggestions? Problems? Feel free to contact us.
Hello Mapping
Update: 6/12/2009Mapping is now a first class affair and will include the complete package history.
5/19/2009Good news, we've just pushed out a bit of Google Maps integration to provide route mapping for packages. Now you'll see a friendly little map link as part of your package's status messages. Currently, the map only displays the packages history for as long as it has been in the system.
Have fun! (but not too much fun, these are only maps after all)
Let me know if you have any problems,
